A shock of pain and disbelieve shot through Zet.

In one moment the link between him an his better half was broken, gone and dissapeared.
Disbelieve, what did that stupid kid to be killed? He had to be killed, right?

Zet tried to remain calm as he was in the shadow of his master.
One golden eye closed itself and re-opened again, only to see that nothing had changed.
Desperatly he searched for any lifesign of his better half, his friend.

Silence, no soft babbling, no exotic dreams about a life they would never experience.
Just one cold silence.

Should he leave his master to search for Su? Could he?
Master would try to kill him instantly, disobeying orders had a death penalty in the Akatsuki.
But he wouldn't be captured, being the one he was he would never be captured.
He, unknown to everyone, was the best spy around. And he could dissapear even for the nose of the leader of the Akatsuki.

Then he heard it, the sound of someone shortly giggling.

"You were.. worried?" A soft voice asked sweetly but with a faint sound of humor.
